Booking terms and privacy

Short, because there is not much to say. These apply to every booking confirmed by us on WhatsApp or email.

Bookings and payment

• A booking is confirmed when we send a written voucher after receiving the part payment we quote, usually 30% for stays and tours and the full amount for seva.
• Payments are by UPI or bank transfer to the account named on the quote. We never ask for card details on the phone.
• The price on the voucher is the price you pay. Entry fees, ropeway tickets and meals are extra unless the voucher says they are included.

Cancellations and refunds

• Stays and tours on ordinary days: free cancellation up to 7 days before; 50% of the part payment refunded up to 48 hours before; none after that.
• Lathmar Holi and Radha Ashtami bookings: the part payment is not refundable after 15 January and 15 August respectively, because the owners hold rooms for us in writing. We will try to re-sell the room and refund what we can.
• Seva bookings: refundable in full if the sevayats cannot perform the seva on your date; otherwise not, once it is confirmed.
• If we cancel, for any reason, you get everything back within 7 days.

On the day

• Temple timings, closures and festival dates are set by the temples and the administration, not by us. We confirm them the day before and adjust the plan; we cannot promise darshan at a particular minute.
• The ropeway stops in bad weather. If it does, we climb or we wait; there is no refund for a ropeway you did not take.

Privacy

• We keep your name, phone, email, dates and the details you give us to make the booking and to contact you about it.
• We share them only with the stay, driver or sevayat who needs them for your booking, and with nobody else. We do not sell lists.
• Say the word and we delete your details after your trip.
