Nandgaon's Nand Bhavan, back for Sandhya aarti at Shriji at 7
Can you get us VIP darshan?
No, and be wary of anyone who says they can. Shriji has no VIP ticket. What we do is simpler: the right aarti slot, a guide who knows the sevayats, and no wasted hours.
Is photography allowed inside?
Ask before you photograph inside the temple. Sevayats often do not allow it near the deity. Outside and on the steps is fine.
Can elderly parents manage it?
Yes, with the ropeway and a slow pace. Tell us in advance and we plan the day around them, with a car as close to the base as the day allows.
What should we wear?
Anything modest and easy to walk in. Shoes come off at the temple; carry a bag for them. In the Holi weeks, nothing you mind getting coloured.
Which days are crowded?
Weekends bring Delhi NCR, Agra and Rajasthan. Festival mornings are dense. Weekday sunrise is the calmest darshan of the week.
We reply with a plan, not a brochure
Say when you are coming and how many of you there are. You get two or three options with real distances to Shriji and a fixed price. No surge on festival days.
- Reply within a day, usually within hours
- Stays 10% below the walk-in rate when booked through us
- A local lead with every group on festival days
- No VIP darshan promises, because there is no such thing at Shriji
